I've been looking around and a few people have mentioned Kays as a decent budget option that actually holds up well in our climate without the premium price tag of some other brands. I live in Dubai Sports City and I've been trying to find an affordable Kays car battery in Dubai Sports City because I figure there must be some places nearby that stock them rather than me having to drive all the way to Deira or Sharjah. Has anyone here used Kays batteries before and can tell me if they're actually any good? I'm not expecting it to last five years or anything, but if I can get two to three good summers out of it I'd be happy. I'm also wondering about warranty – do they come with any sort of guarantee or is it basically a case of once it's in, it's your problem? I've been quoted some prices from different brands and Kays seems to be significantly cheaper than some of the more well-known names, but I'm a bit suspicious about whether that means lower quality or if it's just a more affordable brand that doesn't spend a fortune on marketing. If anyone has experience with this brand or knows a good place to get one fitted around DSC, I'd really appreciate the advice because I need to sort this out before the weekend when I'm planning a road trip to Fujairah. I don't want to be that guy stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery and no one to help.
